A Musical Play
Directed by Neal Jones

Black Music Month Monets' are moments designed to unite music lovers of all kinds that they might enjoy diverse entertainment, cultural performances, ethnic food, and arts, created to inspire people of all ages, backgrounds, and nationalities. Together, we can explore and enjoy the rich history and culture of Black Music, seek to understand its influences, and celebrate its pioneers.
This season, our Black Music Month moment focuses on a unique musical play entitled The Evolution of Gospel Music. This deeply moving, and gripping, story about the 'root' music, will carry you on a journey from slavery to present day- to experience the role of Gospel Music in the social survival of a nation.
Directed by Neal Jones, you will witness the melding of gospel roots into current day genres such as jazz, blues, soul, r&b, rock, and others. Please join us this June 2007 by participating in this Black Music Month Monet' with us.
